A Firm Foundation – Day 3: A Legacy of Sincere Faith
Date: Tuesday, October 7, 2025
2 Timothy 1:5 (NIV)
Reflection
Paul reminded Timothy of the sincere faith first found in his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice. Faith often begins with simple, consistent witness—an encouraging word, a bedtime prayer, a faithful presence at church. God uses ordinary people to plant extraordinary faith.
Passing on the faith doesn’t require perfection. What matters is sincerity and consistency. Each act of faith, however small, becomes part of a legacy that shapes lives for Christ.
Reflection Prompts
Who first introduced you to Jesus, and how did they influence your faith?
How might your faith leave a legacy for others?
Discussion Questions
What role do mentors and family members play in shaping faith?
How can we encourage young believers like Timothy in our church today?
Why is sincerity in faith more powerful than perfection?
Closing Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for the people who first taught us about You. Strengthen us to pass on that same faith to others with sincerity, humility, and love. Amen.
