A Firm Foundation – Day 23: All Ages Before the Lord
Date: Monday, October 27, 2025
Deuteronomy 31:12–13 (NIV)
Reflection
Moses commanded that God’s law be read to all Israel—including men, women, children, and foreigners—so that every generation might learn to fear the Lord. Children were not excluded; they were invited to hear, learn, and grow in faith.
Faithful teaching includes the whole community. When children are present in worship and learning, they experience God’s truth firsthand and are shaped to follow Him.
Reflection Prompts
Why do you think God wanted children included in the assembly?
How might your faith practices make space for children to learn?
Discussion Questions
What does this passage teach us about intergenerational discipleship?
How can churches make worship meaningful for all ages?
Why is it important that children hear God’s Word regularly?
Closing Prayer
Lord, let every generation in our community hear and know Your Word. May our teaching draw children near to You, shaping them in faith and love. Amen.
