A Firm Foundation – Day 10: Accepted in Christ
Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2025
Romans 15:7 (NIV)
Reflection
“Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” Acceptance is not mere tolerance—it’s embracing others with the same grace Christ showed us. His welcome draws us into family, fellowship, and worship.
When we extend this same acceptance, the church becomes a foretaste of heaven: diverse people gathered in unity, bound by Christ’s love. This kind of radical welcome brings glory to God.
Reflection Prompts
How has Christ’s acceptance changed your life?
Who might need to experience that kind of acceptance through you today?
Discussion Questions
What does it mean to accept someone “as Christ accepted you”?
Why does our welcome to others bring praise to God?
How can acceptance and truth go hand in hand?
Closing Prayer
Gracious Lord, thank You for welcoming us into Your family through Christ. Help us to accept others with the same grace, so that our love may bring You glory. Amen.
